This month we are featuring Rachael Langry. Rachael is a stellar recruiter here at Headway. Read on to find out more about Rachael!

What are your job duties?

I am here to make sure our clients get the best candidates imaginable.  My goal is to make sure they couldn’t imagine life without Headway.

How do you get through the work day?

SO MUCH COFFEE. Also, my manager Alex Smith helps me through my days.

Who’s your all-time favorite musical artist?

I think John Lennon was a genuine and well-rounded musician.

Which do you prefer, the mountains or the beach?

I prefer the mountains for several reasons: I sunburn very easily, I prefer fewer people and more nature and I never feel like I see the same thing twice.

What makes you smile?

When I am overthinking things or stressing over something, it makes me smile when someone tells me “it will be okay”.  I don’t always believe them, but the fact that someone has taken that second to have faith in me and have faith that whatever is going on will be okay really inspires a smile. When someone verbalizes something that I have a hard time making myself believe it can instantly lift my mood.

Evolving – Headway is always looking for the next great thing and striving to improve.  Looking for the next great recruiter, client or opportunity.

If you were a breakfast food, what would you be?

I would be a waffle! I hold things well and I can adapt to any situation.

I would be a waffle. I hold things well and I can adapt to any situation (crunchy, soft, etc.) Some people prefer pancakes but are rarely disappointed with a waffle. A waffle can be a main dish or a side item, but it’s always great!
