This month we are featuring James Brown, our HR Payroll Administrator. Meet James Brown! He’s responsible for making sure everyone’s paychecks are in order, among other things. Needless to say, he’s pretty important!

What are your job duties?

I ensure that all corporate staff gets paid timely and accurately. I also handle multiple tasks within the office to include: parking, building access and building maintenance requests. Finally, I assist the other members of the HR team when needed.

How do you get through the work day?

Easy, 1 keystroke at a time. No, this job and the individuals I work with make it easy for me to get through the day.

Who’s your all-time favorite musical artist? 

This is a tough one. I don’t know that I have just one but if I had to pick one it would be my wife. Nobody else gets to hear her sing but at home, I could listen to her all day.

Which do you prefer, the mountains or the beach? 

There is something about the smell of salt air, birds flying and the sound of the waves crashing that is soothing.

My favorite place is the beach. There is something about the smell of salt air, birds flying and the sound of the waves crashing that is soothing. It’s the only place where I can truly “recharge my batteries”.

What makes you smile?

Seeing others smiling and laughing. If everyone around you is enjoying life to the fullest it becomes contagious and you can’t help but smile and join in.
